Last night Glasgow witnessed a spectacle of a lifetime with the arrival of Shania Twain’s highly anticipated NOW tour. Kickstarting her eighteen date European tour, the icon delivered a spellbinding show performing hits such as That Don’t Impress Me Much, You’re Still The One and Man! I Feel Like a Woman.
Performing to a sold out arena, Shania says “I’m proud of my music and I want to share it with as many people as possible in the greatest show I’ve ever done”.
The NOW tour boasts 12 foot larger than life moving LED cubes that peak at 30 feet height from the stage whilst 4375 lighting cues will dazzle the audience each night. Stunning, elegant and stylish over 10,000 Swarovski crystal stones and 16 yards of sequin fabric are used in Shania’s wardrobe.
Recognizing her indelible impact and achievements in music, Shania is the first and only female artist to receive CMT’s Artist of a Lifetime Award. She was also honoured with the Icon Award at Billboard’s Women in Music ceremony.
In 2017 Shania Twain released her stunning new album ‘NOW’ and three decades into her storied career, Shania Twain has never sounded better. Containing the singles ‘Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed’ and the joyful ‘Life’s About to Get Good’, ‘NOW’ is the first time Shania has assumed the role of sole songwriter and co-producer.
